THE BERSERKER CLAN
In Old Norse history and legend, a Berserker was an elite warrior who fought in a state of uncontrollable fury. They were famous for their berserkergangr, (Berserker rage that granted them superhuman strength and immunity to pain). Berserker likely means "bear-shirt" referring to the bear pelts that they wore, or "bare-shirt" indicating that they fought without armor.
